Kettle House Beer League - Week 1 in the books

Thank you to all the racers and spectators who came out. Also, thank you to Zillastate, Kettle House, Black Coffee, and Marshall Mountain for being amazing sponsors. Big shout out to John Wehyrich, Cindy Schultz, Howard Williams, Alex Gallegos, Pat Scharfe, Travis Howard, and all the other race volunteers.

The results can be found here. Also, I created a results tab on the website. I know there are lots of names mis-spelled. Also, there are a couple question marks. If you have any changes feel free to email me and I'd be happy to update the sheet.

Kid's Mountain Bike Camp

Are you excited about the Missoula XC? Well, your kid should be too!

Now there is a way to get your kids involved because Missoula XC has partnered with Campbell Enterprises to present a kid's mountain bike camp the week before the big race. The camp will be 8 am - 12 pm Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22 for kids ages 5 -11. The camp is $80 but you can register for a single day or multiple days for $20/day. Registration is open online atusacycling.org: https://www.usacycling.org/myusac/index.php?pagename=registration&eventid=2461&year=2011 There will also be registration on-site at Marshall mtn.

Camp highlights include:

• Learning mountain bike skills and techniques through games in a fun, non-competitive environment
• Exposure to the basics of bike repair and maintenance
• Fun single-track riding
• Tour and Q&A with the Subaru-Trek squad
• Half-day with Sam Schultz

Trail Work Sunday

We're going to head up and work on the trail on Sunday morning at 10. A few of us may ride a lap or two beforehand, starting around 9. Hope to see some folks up there.
